Meghan McCormack, Esquire

Meghan is a personal injury attorney who is proud to have spent the entirety of her professional career dedicated as an advocate for the injured and disabled.

She has extensive experience litigating cases involving catastrophic injuries and insurance coverage disputes, including wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries, motor vehicle collisions, work injuries and premises liability matters.

Meghan was born and raised in the City of Philadelphia having attended Hallahan High School before obtaining her undergraduate degree from Chestnut Hill College.  She began working in high school at a notable personal injury and medical malpractice firm in Center City, where she witnessed first hand the devastating effects of negligence and the positive impact the right lawyer can have on people’s lives. 

That experience shaped her career path and she ultimately pursued a law degree from Widener University School of Law where she was a Certified Legal Intern in the Criminal Defense Clinic, President of the Brehon Irish Law Society and was recognized for her outstanding achievement in both her Pennsylvania and New Jersey Practice courses.  

Prior to joining McEldrew Young, Meghan served as an associate attorney at a prestigious Philadelphia workers’ compensation and civil litigation firm where she represented injured individuals in a variety of complex personal injury matters, work injury claims, and Social Security Disability appeals.  She has also argued at the appellate level in front of the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.  She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State of New Jersey, and United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

In her spare time, Meghan is very active in philanthropic activities and associations within the greater Philadelphia Area. She is an active member of the planning committee for the American Cancer Society Bike-a-thon, where she helps run an annual charity bike ride from Philadelphia to Atlantic City that raises millions for the ACS.  She has also completed several marathons and triathlons, including two international full Ironman competitions.
