The BB&T Railing Accident

What happened at the concert outside Philadelphia?

A railing collapsed at BB&T Pavilion in Camden, NJ at approximately 10:30 PM during the Snoop Doog and Wiz Khalifa concert. There are media reports that more than 40 people were injured. People injured by the accident were taken to five different hospitals, including Cooper University Hospital, Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center and Virtua Hospital in Camden, and Inspira Medical Center and Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill.

Were you there?

We are also looking for eyewitness reports who can add context to the social media videos which have been posted.  These accounts may be crucial to determining who is liable for those hurt in the accident.  If you were there, and particularly if you have video or photographs, please contact us.  We will be in touch shortly.

About Live Nation and its Potential Liability

The venue is operated by Live Nation Entertainment. Live Nation has been sued by a number of concertgoers over the years for inadequate security and crowd control inside and outside the arenas. They are the largest operator of concert promotions in the country. The company is traded on the New York Stock Exchange, with reported revenue of more than $7 billion in 2015.

Premises Liability

Property owners and occupiers of property (lessees) are required by law to take steps to maintain a relatively safe environment for guests.  If a person that they have invited onto the property is injured in an accident, they can be liable for those injuries under the legal doctrine of premises liability.

About McEldrew Young

Trial Lawyers

Our trial attorneys are ready to litigate on your behalf.  They have handled thousands of oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations and jury trials.  James J. McEldrew, III is a Past President of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.  He has an extensive set of contacts with local and national physicians in order to provide expert testimony concerning your injuries if necessary.

Against Big Business

Our lawyers have sued some of the largest health care companies, insurance companies, local hospitals and other corporations both in the local area and nationally.  We may be a small team but we carefully select cases so that we have the resources to litigate them properly and we are not allocating our time to a case that we don’t think we have a shot of winning.

For Individuals & Families

We represent our personal injury clients on a contingency fee basis.  This means that there is no upfront cost to hire us and you owe nothing to us unless we receive a recovery for you.  We know that litigation is expensive and our clients generally don’t have the money to front the cost to take a case to trial.  Our personal injury practice consists largely of the representation of individuals and families in the five counties that make up the Philadelphia area, including Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties.
