Dan Purtell is a trial attorney who has dedicated his career to defending victims of corporate wrongdoing and the negligence of others.
Dan has tried more than 100 cases to a verdict for clients. He has extensive experience in litigation involving wrongful death and personal injury resulting from pharmaceutical and medical negligence, FELA, automobile accidents, commercial trucking accidents and premises liability.
Dan was born and raised in the Philadelphia area and attended LaSalle College High School. After college at Penn State University, he decided to become a litigator because of injuries suffered by his closest family members. Dan saw insurance companies, medical providers and corporations put their profits ahead of his family’s well-being. He has dedicated his legal career to fighting this injustice on behalf of his clients.
Dan is a graduate of Temple University – Beasley School of Law where he was a member of Temple’s nationally recognized Trial Advocacy Program. He is currently a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, The Temple Inn of Court, Philadelphia Trial Attorneys Association and Pennsylvania Association of Justice.
